Ahh the world of voice…Let’s learn more about Radio Daddy

What Is Radio Daddy?

Radio Daddy is a forum where voice pros and those in need of voice work come together.  It serves the needs of both; the voice pros get their voice out there which helps build up their portfolio and those in need of voice work get cheap or free professional quality voice work for their podcast or amateur radio station, etc…

Why Should I Care?

If you are in need of professional sounding voice work, you should care.  If you are thinking of starting a podcast or run a 501 charity that needs professional sounding radio spots, you should care.

The more professional your material sounds…the more serious people will take you…whatever your end goal may be.

How Much Does It Cost?

Radio Daddy is Free!  Yep, 100% free.  They do have various levels of membership starting at $1.99 a month, but you can still request free voiceovers (limit one per day) even without a membership.

What If I Am Licensed?

If you run a licensed broadcast station, over the air or on the internet, you can join VoiceDaddy.  VoiceDaddy is like Radio Daddy, but only for licensed broadcasters…which means it has less people and a quicker turn-around time from request to receipt.

How Long Does It Take?

Depending on how complex your request is, it can take as little as a few hours or up to a full week before someone responds.  Remember, it’s a free service and people can record and upload their material at their leisure.

If you need something right now…you had better be ready to shell out a few hundred dollars to a professional voice actor.  Otherwise, you can just be patient and get free professional quality voice acting for free.

In Conclusion

Radio Daddy is a great site and I have used their services many times.  I have even uploaded my own voice in response to requests.  I enjoy being a part of this awesome community and encourage you to check them out.

Until Next Time…
