A Comment on Comments

Commenting on The Discourse just got a whole lot easier…

Take a look at the picture above.  Let’s examine it by color…shall we?

If you have a Facebook or Twitter or OpenID …Look at The RED ARROWS. Simply click the correct picture (meaning if you have a Facebook page, you should click the Facebook connect link, etc…) and follow these simple steps:

  1. It will ask you if you want to allow “Dereks Discourse” access to your Facebook (or twitter, etc…) the first time you do this.  Click YES! (or Connect)

  2. You can now leave comments using your Facebook (or Twitter) profile.  No need to log in or type in a username or password to leave comments, just click connect and you are ready to go.

The same holds true for all you Yahoo fans as well.  One click and you can leave comments under your yahoo username  (Orange Arrow) .

If you DO NOT have a Facebook (or you don’t want to allow access to Facebook), simply follow the BLUE arrows.  Type in your comment, then type in your name and email

If you have your own website, check out the Black arrow.  If you type in your website domain, it will link your comment back to your own site.  If you don’t have a website…ignore the Black arrow.  Leave it blank.
