Merry Christmas and whatnot…

With the presents and the tree and the music …and stuff…

Yep…still alive

Where Have You Been?

Sorry, I haven’t been updating as regularly as I once did, I have had a plethora of changes going on at Casa Cormier, including a move to a new home, a promotion, and some new developments as far as becoming an Army Chaplain.

So, Why The Delay?

Well, I found that having internet at the home was becoming a distraction to getting more important things done, so I decided to nix it.  So, now, whenever I need the net, I have to make it intentional.  I make a list of what I need to get done and head out to Starbucks.  While this has been a huge help for me as far as time management goes, it has and will continue to, by default, slow down my blogging.

I also have been filling out tons and tons of online “paperwork” to get my faith endorsement for the Army.  I simply haven’t had the time to blog.

How often will you Update?

Well, realistically I will update around 3, maybe 4 times a month.  This may be via video or a written update.  I believe this will help me focus my blog more as well as give readers/viewers an opportunity to soak in what I am writing (or in some cases saying).

Basically, I hope it will make this blog better.  Too often I focus on quantity and forget about quality…which can result in rushed, detached updates with no real purpose.

Will the Discourse be shifting?

Somewhat…I basically plan on making this more about…well…me.  I know, it sounds selfish, but I think I know me better than any other topic.  While I won’t rule out topical series, I can say they will be reduced dramatically.  Instead this blog will serve as sort of a quazi-documentary on my life.

In Conclusion

I thank all of you who have continued to keep up with this blog over the years.  I hope I have and continue to bring you items worth talking about.  I wish you and yours a very very Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year.
