Some say it's a right too many ignore.

"I do normally vote. I served in the military and I think voting is extremely important and I think it's a right that a lot of people fought for and that we shouldn't take for granted," Derek Cormier said.

He just moved to East Texas and plans to register this year, but says he's not sure everyone should cast a ballot.

"As I hate to tell people not to vote, if you're not informed about what the candidate believes, then it can lead to a disaster," Cormier said.
