I am writing this post to hopefully raise awareness of this awful, horrific practice. Yes, we legally abolished slavery, but it still goes on everyday. Women and even young girls (of all races, not just white) are traded on the black market. For example this mom who traded her kids or this man who just wanted some beer in exchange for his daughter.
I certainly am not trying to cause anyone grief or to have them dwell on such horrible things, but just be aware that as you live your life, whatever circumstances may befall you, that someone, somewhere, possibly even someone you know, may be going through a living hell.
