Anyone who knows me knows I am a big fan of Alton Brown. I think he puts on a terrific program, and his Feasting on Asphalt series (which by the way is on sale now, over $30.00 off, I need Christmas presents.) is one of the best documentaries on America and the food we all eat that I have ever seen.
He gave up a good life making good money and being very comfortable and risked it all. He became one of the top Food Network personalities of all time. Here is a video of him talking about it. He also has an article in Guidepost as well.
